How Can You Serve?

At Gateway, we are so thankful for our volunteers who serve in myriads of ways. Taking a little extra time out of your morning to serve can bless people in ways you could never imagine. A smiling face and a hello before the service, helping people find a seat or teaching our children about their Creator all help us as the body of Christ at Gateway fulfill our mission of connecting people to Jesus Christ and to one another.

So, what is one thing you enjoy about serving at Gateway? If you are not serving, what is one place where you think you would like to serve? As we have reopened, we have many opportunities to serve. First Impression Needs

Greeters (Currently Serving) - We need greeters at all campuses. Greeters stand at the doors and greet people as they walk into the building.

Ushers (Currently Serving) - We need ushers at all campuses. Currently ushers greet people as they walk into the worship center and assist them in finding seats if necessary.

Cafe (Opening Soon) - We need cafe volunteers at all campuses. We are almost ready to open the cafe to serve coffee, however, we cannot do this until we have enough volunteers. These volunteers will serve coffee with a few new sanitary procedures in place.

What's Next Wall (Currently Serving) - We need What's Next Wall volunteers at County Road 9. These volunteers stand at the What's Next Wall before and after the service they attend to greet first time visitors, give them a gift, and help answer questions they might have. You do NOT have to know everything about Gateway in order to serve here!

Parking Lot (Currently Serving) - We need parking lot volunteers at CR9 and North Main. These volunteers greet people as they come into the parking lot. They also may assist people as needs arise in the parking lot, for example, someone comes out of church to a dead battery or a flat tire.

Prayer Teams (Opening Soon) - We need prayer teams at all campuses. These people are available after each service to pray with those who would like prayer.

All first impression areas are a once per month commitment. We are also willing to schedule people more often if they would like to serve more than once a month.

Kidway Needs

County Road 9 campus

2nd Grade Teacher - during 10:45am service on 1st and 3rd Sundays each month

Preschool co-teacher for Purple room (2 and 3 year olds) -  during 9am service

Helper in Kindergarten class - during 10:45am service

North Main campus

Large Group Leaders-to help lead kids in their worship time and Bible story; needed for both Sunday services
Preschool Teachers - needed for both Sunday services
Nursery volunteers -  needed for both Sunday services
