An Invitation to Make an Impact

in the Muslim world for Jesus. A quarter of the world now identifies as Muslim. 1.8 million people are followers of the sayings of a man that lived 1400 years ago. Does that feel hopeless? Should we be discouraged? Far from it. God has been drawing many, many Muslims to himself in recent years. Much of that is due to the crescendo of prayer being offered on their behalf. Every year, untold numbers of God’s people around the world engage in prayer during the month of Ramadan. Would you like to get involved? You too can make an impact by joining the 30-day challenge.

Prayercast is a media tool that can help you both to remember to pray and to know what to pray for on the behalf of specific Islamic people groups. It is so simple. The videography is fabulous and the content incredibly moving. Take a few minutes to watch and then pray.

For years, I have supported VOM, the Voice of the Martyrs ministry, and have prayed for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ throughout the world. But I never realized, until I participated in PrayerCast during Ramadan last year and committed to praying for Muslims throughout the world, that my prayers for the persecuted Church in past years might have been a lot more powerful had I been praying, as well, for the enemies who were persecuting them! Matthew 5:43-48. As I prayed for Muslims through PrayerCast, my Heavenly Father completely transformed my heart so that it is now in alignment with His heart towards Muslims. I understand now, that He loves them as much as He loves my persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ! Thank You Jesus for breaking my heart for what breaks Yours!
