The Value of Time

Do you know what each of us gets every day that is the same, no matter who we are? We all receive the same amount of this, no matter our age, profession, location, or how rich or poor we are. This one thing is time. Each day we are given twenty-four hours to do what we want. We have a choice each day to be good stewards of our time, or we can choose to waste it. The one fact about time is once it is gone, you never get it back. I was reminded of this last week as I stood in front of a room full of people who were saying goodbye to a loved-one who had died. In those moments, we reflect on our own time on this earth. We look over our shoulder at the time that has passed, and we look to the future wondering how much time we have left. As always, I too was convicted in my own life in how I use the time I am given each day. I came across an article highlighting some valuable lessons on time from the teachings of the late R.C. Sproul. In this article, he gives some tips on how to manage your time better. It was a good reminder for me. I hope it helps and encourages you too.
