Justin grew up just down the road from Findlay in Arlington, Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor's and master's in Community Leadership in Extension Education. Before Gateway Church, Justin worked for The Ohio State University and Ohio 4-H Youth Development for 6 years as the Logan County 4-H Educator and the State Healthy Living and Ohio Military Kids Educator. Justin's mission has always been to ensure youth know trusted adults who care about them and remind them they have value. He believes teaching kids God values and loves them is a huge need for so many.
He has been married to his wife, Katilyn, since June 2018. They have two energetic kids: Danielle, age 4, and Benjamin, age 2.
