More Staff!

A few weeks ago you learned about our new Facilities Manager, Steve Carlson.  And now meet three more!  Introducing:

Travis Mikoda - Travis is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a degree in Hospitality Management. He is from Akron, Ohio. Travis loves food and has been cooking since he was three years old. He learned this from his dad who now owns, alongside his mom, two restaurants in Akron, Ohio. He also has a younger sister who attends the University of Findlay.

Travis works for the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO). He is participating in a yearlong fellowship program with the CCO and works alongside Bill Corbin with Engage College Ministries in order to reach the students of the University of Findlay.

The only thing Travis is more passionate about than food is Jesus—especially in His pursuit of college students. Students are in a unique, once-in-a-lifetime situation where they are on their own figuring out who they are and where they fit in the world. What better place for Jesus to change hearts than there!

Travis also loves coffee, Marvel Comics, The Lord of Rings, and Star Wars. 

Graham Copus - Graham is a sophomore at the University of Findlay where he studies to be a Physician’s assistant. He also has a passion for ministry and will be the Student Intern this year for Engage College Ministries working closely with Bill Corbin and Travis Mikoda.

He has gone to Gateway since sixth grade, and David Rath played a big role in his life and growth in Christ. Gateway has been like a second home to him over the years.

Graham swam throughout high school and his freshman year of college. In his freetime, Graham likes watching football (especially the Browns), hanging out with friends and family, and being active

Adam Borsay - Adam Borsay (familiar last name) will be joining us in mid-September as our Director of Millennial Ministry.* Adam is an O.S.U. graduate where he was involved with Campus Crusade.  Since graduation, he has worked with Campus Crusade, served as a youth pastor in Columbus, solo pastored a small rural congregation near Van Wert and most recently has been on staff at Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert where he has been the Worship Leader plus a host of other assignments.  He is married to Tori, an E.R. nurse at Blanchard Valley Hospital and they are parents of three children – Kai (5), Piper (3) and Willow (11 months).

*Millennials are, generally speaking, people who are born between 1982 and 2004, constituting the largest demographic group in the USA
