We've added a walking path around the Gateway property that is open to the general public. The stone path is 122 meters or 134 yards shy of a mile. Thanks to National Lime and Stone and many private donations who helped cover the cost of the new walking path.
In addition, there is a sand volleyball court and gaga ball pit in the Northeast corner of the property that can be used for recreation as well. For those who are curious, Gaga Ball is a fast paced, high energy sport played in an octagonal pit. The more players the better! Dubbed a kinder gentler version of dodge ball, the game is played with a soft foam ball, and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping, while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees.
