First Bibles!

On September 20, we presented 44 first graders with their very own Bibles. We shared 2 Timothy 3:16-17 with the kids: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man (or kids) of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." We also talked about the importance of reading our Bible every day, not just on Sundays at Kidway. Each Sunday we send home a devotional resource our elementary aged kids can use to start building the discipline of being in the Word. This is a great resource for parents and kids to do together and it reinforces the lesson we learn on Sunday.
