Kidway "Bags Hunger"

"...Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?...The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'" (Matthew 25:37, 40)

In December, Kidway was presented with a "triple dog dare" to see how many bags of food/toiletries we could collect to help "Bag Hunger" in Hancock County. Throughout the month the kids passed out and collected over 85 bags of non-perishables to be donated to the City Mission! This was a great lesson for our kids about compassion and caring for the needs of others. We hope to keep the "Bag Hunger" campaign going several times throughout the year and expand it to include all of Gateway, so stay tuned for the return of the orange bags sometime in the next few months!
