Operation Christmas Child 2018

On November 7th, Gateway families gathered for our 2018 Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoebox packing party. We were thrilled to be able to pack 150 boxes for children around the world. OCC, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, partners with local churches in more than 100 countries to distribute gifts to children in need and tell them about God’s Greatest Gift - Jesus Christ. Thank you to all who served and donated so that kids all over the world have the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus this Christmas!

The children were encouraged to pray over the boxes they assembled before they turned them in, and these kids made sure to pray over each box they made. Such a great opportunity to bless other children and to teach our children how to pray for others.
