It is with both regret and anticipation that we share the news that Kevin Grubinski, our International Missions Director and interim Go Director, has resigned from his position at Gateway. Kevin has served the Lord at Gateway for the past four and a half years, helping us to be a more mission-focused church. He has visited our missionaries, led numerous mission trips, trained our people in evangelism, encouraged us to grow as missionaries and prayed hard for the completion of our mission - “To connect people to Jesus Christ and one another.”
While we are sad to lose Kevin here at Gateway, we are excited that he has been offered a position with SCORE, an international mission organization. In this position, Kevin will be traveling around the United States speaking at churches and conferences about missions and what God is doing through missionaries throughout the world. If you have spent any time at all with Kevin, you know that there is nothing he enjoys more than speaking and inspiring people to live their lives in light of the Great Commission.
Kevin and his family have blessed us, and we are thankful not only for their friendship, but also for how they have helped us to be a Gospel-driven church. Please keep Kevin and his family in your prayers as they trust God’s will for them in this next step of ministry.
We are continuing our search for a permanent Go Director, so please keep that search in your prayers.
