Why Go To The Hard Places?

Have you ever wondered about Gateway’s vision for international missions? Why have the new partnerships we have formed over the past year been in places like Lebanon, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka? Aren’t those places dangerous and hostile toward Christianity? Why would we consider sending mission teams to places like this?

The motto of World Outreach (the mission sending agency of the EPC) is “Going to hard places to tell the story of Jesus among people who have no church,” and they are committed to starting disciple-making movements among least-reached people groups - especially among Muslims. We invite you to take a few minutes to watch this video by Reality Global about God’s concern, and therefore our concern, for people who currently have little or no access to the Gospel.

You can also check out this inspiring story of how God is using some World Outreach missionaries to spread the Gospel among Muslims in a country that does not allow Christians to openly practice their faith.
