Give us a quick background of your story. When you met. How you found yourself serving in Turkey. (:40)
How did you find yourself in the EPC denomination and in Turkey specifically? (3:05)
One of the things I always ask myself is, "How would I do if I was imprisoned for my faith?" Was this something you thought about prior to your imprisonment? What would you say to the listener who asks the same question? (6:20)
Norine: As a mom of young children, how did you handle some of the threats that came with being in an environment often hostile to Christians? (12:00)
Norine: Even though you were at risk of re-imprisonment, you seemed to give no thought to yourself in your love for Andrew and remained in Turkey to be a constant support for him. You remained there through a graduation, wedding, death in the family. What was your perspective? (15:45)
Norine: You were the one feeding Andrew’s faith while he was in prison. How was your faith being fed during that time? (21:25)
How did your kids respond to Andrew’s experience? (24:45)
How has your relationship with God changed because of your experience? (26:20)
Even though God felt silent, where do you look back and see where God was working? (37:20)
Prayer was massive in the ordeal that both of you endured. Tell us about how it was significant? (45:10)
What would be your encouragement to someone who feels called to serve in a place that's hostile to the Christian faith? (49:20)
What are your plans for the future? Ministry plans? It seems apparent that there is no way that you can return to Turkey. (55:45)
If someone was interested in partnering with you, where should they go to learn more information? (1:00:10)
