Graduation season is officially upon us. High school seniors are counting down the days and experiencing a series of ‘lasts’ as their high school days come to an end.
Their last school dance.
Their last youth group.
Their last first day.
With all of these ‘lasts’, we can encourage the students we love to look forward to what’s ahead. For some, this is exciting and the encouragement part will come easily. For others, there will be lots of emotions of grief and loss and the encouragement piece will be difficult.
This resource is #5 of a six-part series intended to help prepare Christian students for college. This article in the series specifically addresses doubt and the belief from students (and some adults) that doubt can earn us the label of ‘bad Christian’. Whether your student is graduating this year, next, or a few after that, this series can be helpful to begin having conversations to prepare your child to leave the world they’ve known for so long and transition into their next phase of life- in college, in the workforce, or somewhere in between.
